Boucarou Lounge
64 East 1st Street

The boucarou is a backyard hut in Cameroon where family and friends gather to enjoy food, drinks and conversation. In New-York City, boucarou lounge is an urbane metamorphosis of this dignified spirit, an upscale trendy restaurant in the Lower East Side, which features a 2200 square foot main room with 17-foot high ceiling. The luxurious décor shows chocolate brown color walls, gold accents and bamboo finishes surrounding an astonishing gold nail piece by designer Breana Carlson.

At boucarou, Executive Chef Malik Fall (Asia de Cuba) offers his new creation of French/world fusion cuisine mixing his background of traditional French with some exotic and Asian influences.
The cocktail list is diverse, mixing fresh ingredients purees with American top shelf standards.
This modern boucarou is the tribute of owner Patrice Bihina-Parade to his mixed origins, a warm and cozy place to share and enjoy the present.
